Environmental Policy

MVFM is committed to protecting the environment, supporting
sustainable development and adopting responsible environmental
practices in its operations. We do this by:

• Monitoring the station’s power consumption and trying to keep
  that to a minimum whilst still maintaining comfortable working
  conditions.
• Gradually replacing existing lighting with more energy efficient
  lighting.
• Ensuring our operations are conducted in a manner that prevents
  pollution, uses materials and energy efficiently and minimizes any
  adverse impacts.
• Where possible, to avoid the use of single use materials in order
  to keep our waste production to a minimum.
• Facilitation of productive debate within the community about
  local environmental issues.
• Communicating to all stakeholders our commitment to
  environmental sustainability.
